PTR changes

Not at all a full list.

  • Bloodlust, Heroism, Time Warp and Ancient Hysteria can no longer be cast while in Arenas.
  • The night elf racial trait Shadowmeld can now be used while shapeshifted.
  • The tauren racial trait War Stomp can now be used while shapeshifted.

  • Meta gems with the Chaotic and Relentless prefixes now have a requirement of 3 red gems.
    god, finally.
  • Icebound Fortitude now breaks stuns when used, in addition to providing immunity to them. ouch look out for this
  • Necrotic Strike's absorption effect is now reduced by the target's resilience.

  • Barkskin is no longer dispellable.
  • Healing Touch is now trained at level 78, up from level 3.
  • Lacerate damage has been reduced by approximately 20%.
  • Mangle (Bear Form) weapon damage (at level 80+) has been reduced to 235%, down from 300%.
  • Mangle (Cat Form) weapon damage percent (at level 80+) has been increased to 460%, up from 360%.
  • Maul damage has been reduced by approximately 20%.
  • Mount Up: This guild perk now applies to Flight Form and Swift Flight Form as well.
  • Nourish is now trained at level 8, down from level 78.
  • Omen of Clarity can no longer trigger from helpful spells (aka heals), unless the Restoration talent Malfurion's Gift is chosen.
  • Rake damage has been reduced by 10%.
  • Rejuvenation is now trained at level 3, down from level 8. In addition, its mana cost has been reduced from 26% to 16%. its even good for us.
  • Rip damage has been reduced by 10%.

  • The Shooting Stars buff duration has been increased to 12 seconds, up from 8 seconds.
  • Wild Mushroom is now instant cast, down from 0.5 seconds. In addition, the radius of detonation has been increased to 6 yards, up from 3, and damage done increased by 15%. still not the buff i wanted but a start.

  • Berserk (instant Mangle proc) now has a new Spell Alert identifier. In addition, Berserk no longer breaks Fear or makes the druid immune to Fear. can i get a pet shaman pls?
  • Pulverize weapon damage percent has been reduced to 80%, down from 100%.

  • Ring of Frost: Radius shrunk to 8 yards, and inner "safe" radius is now 4.7 yards (exactly matching graphic). Dispelling the effect of Ring of Frost will now make the target immune to being refrozen for 3 seconds. If a second Ring of Frost is cast by the same mage while the first is still active (via Cold Snap), the first will now disappear and cease functioning. radius still okay, cold snap change was very needed

  • Combat Readiness now lasts for 20 seconds, down from 30 seconds, but the Combat Insight stacking buff lasts 10 seconds, up from 6 seconds.
  • Smoke Bomb now lasts for 5 seconds, down from 10 seconds.
  • Juggernaut no longer increases the cooldown on Charge, but instead increases the duration of the Charge stun by 2 seconds. In addition, Charge is usable in all stances, however, the talent now causes Charge and Intercept to share a cooldown.


Somebody was right, time to suck it all up and kick ass yet again.

  • Ghouls do not gain Shadow Infusion when Death Coil is cast during the preparation phase of an Arena or rated Battleground match, making it impossible to use Dark Transformation before the game starts. Shadow Infusion and Dark Transformation both work normally after the preparation phase.
:) but we loved to exploit that!

I still check into forums, read about druid changes, feedbacks, but do not miss the game. Seems blogging is still in my veins, that is how there are so many posts after leaving. I'll continue to post whenever feel like it, so random visitors may not feel totally abandoned.

Considerable time has freed up for me, and I am enjoying it fully. When I play, I am into Assassin's Creed 2 on my xbox or playing multiplayer Borderlands with friends. If anything I party, workout, study and care about my carrier, family, relationships even more.

My only regret may be How to Feral 4. I already had the intro music and sketches, now they are in the archive folder. Really wanted to show some awesome, even more awesome than the previous installments. There are still many unused tricks and strats in feral gameplay, though it will never be a finesse class like a rogue. But I am happy the first 3 was a success, so many viewers, such nice ratings. Thank you for that again:)

What will happen to druids, I wonder. Any day patch changes can come in, pretty sure we won't be very happy about them.
Will I come back? Honestly I do not know. As for the moment, no.

"Feral Druids seem like a sleeper class to me, at least in the small brackets. Their damage and survivability are quite high, though they do have pretty severe mana limitations. I'm not really sure if it is metagame or balance that limits their success currently."

This is very short list of my favorite feral players. They fought, proved themselves, some of them are inactive some of them is still there, but one thing is sure. Nobody can argue about their skill.

"i like how in wrath feral was considered shit the last few seasons, then once cata hit we gain an interrupt and more damage, then all of the sudden every aspect of the class needs changing. its pretty obvious to anyone who actually plays the class (i would hope) that the only thing wrong is the damage. i cant stand reading 9 pages of posts where i can agree with about 1% of the opinions posted.

you're dumb, thats like saying if you play with a priest you are immune to all magic cc. also, to people saying feral is immune to snares, play a feral druid while mirror images are hitting you and say the same thing. even if you sit there shifting snares all day you are on global and will never do damage anyway, so whats the point of being mobile?"
